The concept is a shape-shifting luminaire that is thus versatile and can be used within different contexts and to create different milieus around the house. The lamp can be used around the home whether you need extra lighting or want to draw attention to something by directing light on it or just for ambiance or background. The simple wooden form evokes interest because it is not obviously a light fixture upon first glance. It’s when you start to play with it, that the light is revealed. The aim in terms of light quality is to provide sufficient brightness for writing and reading as well as harmonious light distribution for ambiance and comfort. Material used for the entire fixture is solid birch wood, the light source is a LED strip.
